The new Airplane Manufacturing Plant continues to be cleaned out!

Made a lot of progress in clearing out the garage to make way for my shop. I am expecting to have my kit in just a couple weeks and should be ready by then! I will be ordering tools shortly after the first of November!

So...... I got kicked out of my hangar...... the owners apparently decided to sell and I was evicted..... not even 45 days into the year long lease.....

Oh well..... I guess I will save myself $240 a month and build my plane in my garage......

Time to clear this mess out!!!

I finally was able to put my brand new (to me) 1964 Piper Cherokee 235 in a hangar at Glendale Airport! The Hangar is large enough that we can build our RV-14a project right along side it!

Time to get started building my EAA1000 work bench! Its a great design and easily built. To find the plans, visit EAA's website!

I used 2x4s for the support and MDF for the bottom shelf. For the table top, I used a maple plywood. I was hoping for a straight board, but it ended up having some ripples and had to be sanded down. No one wants a warped Aileron!

And, there we have it! Two full sized work benches and a mini bench to hold the bench grinder, drill press and band saw!
